Apple at its special has announced the iPhone 12, the company's latest iPhone and successor to last year iPhone 11.
The iPhone 12 and the smaller iPhone 12 mini announced by the Cupertino-based company both comes 5G capable, powered by the A14 Bionic 5nm Chip with 11.8 billion transistors and a 6-core design, and as well iP68 water resistance (6 meters for up to 30 minutes).

The two devices have same features on paper except for the size in screen, battery, dimension and some minor differences. The iPhone 12 mini and the 12 come with 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR displays, with both having support for HDR and Dolby Vision. Apple equipped the displays with new Ceramic Shield protection with 4X better drop performance, all thanks to a new high temperature crystallisation step that grows nano-ceramic crystals within the glass matrix.
Also, Apple updated its wireless charging with MagSafe for iPhone, a new charging coil design that allows iPhone chargers, cases and other compatible accessorizes snap right onto its back. It does provide up to 15W of power and still works with existing Qi-enabled devices. Apple didn't include chargers in the box.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 mini will go on November 6 in some countries and then ship November 13. For the iPhone 12, pre-orders will go on October 16 while the devices be available in stores starting October 23.
