Nubia Launches Red Magic 3 Gaming Phone With Internal Cooling Fan, 8K Video Recording And More

Chinese smartphone maker Nubia has launched the Red Magic 3 gaming smartphone just months after it unveiled the Red Magic Mars this year at CES in January.

The Red Magic 3 comes with an improved specs and as well new innovation over the Red Magic Mars which didn't impress that much.

The new Nubia gaming Android device comes with a 6.65 inches FHD+ HDR AMOLED display that has a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and Adreno 640. The variants includes a 6/64GB, 6/128GB, 8/128GB and up to 12GB of RAM and 256Gb of internal storage.


For the battery, the device has an upgraded 5,000mAh battery size with 27W fast charging, has a front facing stereo speakers and DTs: X technology.

At the rear of the device, there's a single 48MP camera sensor that has 1920fps super slow motion feature, and as well as capability to do 8K video recordings. There's a light bar at the back of the device

To aid in the cooling of the device, there's active liquid-cooling with an internal fan which is the first in the industry.

Other features include a built-in capacitive touch shoulder buttons with custom mappings, a special dashboard with pro-user settings, RGB lighting and more advanced haptics.

The device will go on sale in China on the 3rd of May, starting at 2899 Yuan (about $430) and should be available later in the US, Canada, UK and Europe
