Dark Mode On Facebook Is Showing Up For Some Android Users

The demand for dark mode has grown so popular that it would be strange not to see dark mode on popular apps. While some are still working on perfecting dark mode on their app before rolling it out to the public, a system-wide dark mode (be it on Android 10 or iOS 13) can be forced on some apps to work on it. Example of one of those is Facebook.

Sometime in August this year, Jane Machun Wong shared screenshot that showed the social media giant was working on a dark mode feature for the Facebook app.

Now some Facebook users are reporting that they can see the dark mode, others however says it shows up briefly. For most users, they only see dark mode when they go to the Facebook Watch section and click on a video. That is, for those who have enabled a system-wide dark mode on their Android device.

Some months ago. one Reddit user said he had access to the dark mode feature on his Facebook app even without forcing dark mode in settings.

Dark mode has already been rolled out to the Messenger and Instagram app. WhatsApp also has dark mode in the works as Facebook is doing. Hopefully, it won't long before the feature gets rolled out completely.
