Samsung has launched the Galaxy XCover Pro rugged device, the company's latest rugged device in the XCover series.
This Samsung device which was launched in Finland was made ideally for those whose work often takes them to the field and areas that are severe. The device comes with a 6.3-inch, 2400 x 1080 Full HD+ display Infinity-O LCD screen.
Powering the device is an Octa-core Exynos 9611 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM, an Android 10 with One UI 2.0. In built storage is 64GB which isn't big, but can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card.
Since this device was made in mind to face harsh weather and rugged terrains, the Galaxy XCover Pro comes with an enhanced touchscreen that makes it to work in any condition that includes rain and snow.
Samsung added a feature on the device called "Glove Mode" that allows gloves-on use, and there's also a new voice text message feature that provides real-time dictation for simple and convenient communication.

The device is IP68 water and dust resistant, capable of withstanding drops of up to 1.5m, even without a case, and is MIL-STD 810G certified for reliable protection against extreme altitude, humidity, and other sever environmental conditions.
There's a 4,050mAh battery on board with 15W fast charging technology, Pogo pin charging support that is compatible with third party chargers. One of the interesting feature of this device is its removable battery for those on go to easily replace with the one containing juice.
The device also features two programmable buttons for custom actions. There's also a push-to-talk functionality for instant communication. Find complete spec below.
