Launch Date For Nokia 9.3 PureView, Nokia 7.3 5G, And Nokia 6.3 Moved To Q4 2020

HMD Global is working on three Nokia smartphones scheduled to launch in Q3 later this year. However, the launch of those devices have been moved from Q3 to Q4 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The devices includes the flagship Nokia 9.3 PureView, the mid-range Nokia 7.3 and the budge friendly Nokia 6.3.

According to NokiaPowerUser, sources close to HMD says the Nokia smartphone prototypes are being tested and said to be progressing fine. Though "the launch timings still depends on the ongoing COVID19 pandemic and how quickly it can be controlled worldwide."

The Nokia 9.3 is said to come with a Penta-camera system with an all-screen QHD+ pOLED 120Hz display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and up to 8GB LPPDDR4X RAM. There will be an in-screen fingerprint sensor, 5G, 32 MP front facing camera, wireless charging and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 screen material.

The flagship device is expected to succeed the current-generation Nokia 9.3 PureView is which is long overdue for replacement.

For the Mid-range Nokia 7.3, the device is said to be tested in two variants: one is being tested with 5G network support while the other isn't, and the device is said to offer a quad-camera setup at the rear alongside the Snapdragon 700-series chipset.

The last device among the three is the Nokia 6.3 which suggestions says will be powered by either the Snapdragon 675 or the  Snapdragon 730, depending on the variants which is available in RAM of 3GB, 4GB and 6GB. There will also be a quad-camera setup on the device.
