Samsung has today launched the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra devices, bringing powerful specs, refreshed designs and other improvements.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has features similar to the Galaxy S20 Ultra, such as the 108MP camera sensor, 6.9-inch QHD+ SuperAMOLED display, and lots of other specs in common.

Lets look at the specs proper. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra sports a 6.9-inch 3088x1440 Dynamic AMOLED display with a pixel density of 496ppi, 120Hz refresh rate and as well supports HDR10+.

Powering the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is a Qualcomm Snappdragon 865+ SoC alongside 12GB of RAM, and 128GB and 512GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD.

The standard Galaxy Note 20 sports a 6.7-inch 2400x1080 AMOLED display, 60Hz refresh rate and also supports HDR10+. There's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor onboard same as the much premium Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, but then drops the RAM to 8GB, 128Gb internal storage with no space for microSD card slot.

In the camera department, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra pacl similar camera system compared to the Galaxy S20. There's a 10MP selfie camera housed in the centered hole-punch on the phone's display. At the rear there's a 108MP primary camera backed by two 12MP sensors: one telephoto and one ultrawide sensor, with up to 50x hybrid zoom.

Samsung implemented the a Lasef AF system on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra to fix the autofocus issues that affected the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Fore the built-in S Pen, Samsung reduced the latency of the built-in S Pen to 9ms for more "lifelike precision" and as well add new gestures for scrolling, opening apps, and system navigation.

Also, the S Pen note taking app gets an enhanced sync across phone, Samsung tablet, and Windows PC. The app is also adding auto-save and improved folder management. On top of that, Galaxy Note users can now annotate and highlight PDFs while recording audio feedback which syncs with whats being drawn with the S Pen.

Other features includes support for 8K recording at 24fps, a UWB radio that can communicate with nearby devices using that same radio (which can be used for smart devices or other tech in the future), and an upgraded DeX that can be connected without wire to any Miracast-enabled TV.
