Voice call is no news to WhatsApp users on Android and iOS. This feature has been around for some time now that it has become one of the major features of WhatsApp that most users can't do without. But then, not even all mobile users are graced with this feature.
WhatsApp is bringing voice calling capability to the millions of WhatsApp users around the globe on KaiOS smart feature phones.

"People are relying on WhatsApp now more than ever to communicate and stay in touch with their loved ones We want to support communities who are on lighter operating systems in many places around the world," Matt Idema COO WhatsApp said.
This feature will be available to all KaiOS smart feature phones that have more than 512MB of RAM. That is, this feature will be available for JioPhones and 4G VoLTE feature phones from Nokia.
To enable this feature, users will have to accept the update notification inside the app and get the latest WhatsApp version 2.2110.41. Newer KaiOS devices will automatically have the feature enabled as the latest version will come pre-installed.
