Remember the Russian Youtuber that was arrested for playing PokemonGo inthe church and accused of inciting religious hatred? a Russian judge has found the Youtuber guilty of anti-religious activities and could face up to five years imprisonment.

Ruslan Sokolovsky, a 22-year-old man posted on Youtube a video footage of him playing Pokemon in the Yekaterinburg’s Church of All Saints back in August 2016.

“Who can ever be offended by you walking around a church with your smartphone?” Sokolovsky asked at the beginning of the video. “Why the fuck would they lock you up for that?” he said in the video which he later uploaded to Youtube.

The video which Sokolovsky uploaded online came in response to the government imposing tougher penalties on people judged to have purposely insulted the feelings of believers in places of religious worship. The Youtuber was later arrested a few weeks after he posted the video.

Prosecutors are demanding for at least a 3-year sentence for Sokolovsky under the new law, but the 22-year-old could serve up to  years.
