The introduction of Android phones specially made for gaming has defeated most of the problems associated with Android mobile gaming. The same goes for PC.

Taiwanese computer and phone maker, Asus for years has been making the Republic of Gamers (ROG) product for gamers. The Taipei company has been making ROG products over the years for PC user only. However, the company has also dived into the Android gaming scene with the launch of an ROG phone.
Lets take a look at some of the specs that will come with the ROG device
Display: 6.0" 18.9 (2169x1080) AMOLED 90Hz refresh rate
Camera: 12MP + 8MP main, 8MP front
SoC: Snapdragon 845
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 128 or 512GB

The ROG device will come with two USB-C ports, one on the button and the other on the side. The idea behind the second USB-C port is for it to be used for charging and connecting accessories so as to give room for the user while playing games.
The ROG device will come with an active cooling bracket to cool the phone when its heating up. This active bracket is plugged into the side USB-C port. The active bracket also comes with another USB-C port and a 3.5mn headphone jack.
When you hold the Asus ROG device in your hand, you will notice two ultrasonic buttons on the top edge. These buttons allows the user to map on-screen game functions to the physical controls.
Well, the Asus phone won't come cheap. Without any accessories attached to it, the Asus ROG phone with 128GB will be sold for $899, while the 512GB model will be sold for $1,099.
Accessories for the ROG Android device includes a $90 controller, a $230 desktop dock, and a $400 TwinViewer dock with a secondary display.
The Asus ROG device will be available in the US on the 18th of October on Asus store, Microsoft and Amazon.
