Joining the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, Honor View 20, Huawei Nova 4, and Umidigi S3, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has revealed that Realme has a 48MP phone in the works.

According to Indianexpress, Sheth also said that Realme 3 will be released sometime in the quarter of 2019. However, the Realme CEO didn't throw more light on when the 48MP device will be released, nor if it will be Sony's IMX586 48MP sensor or Samsung's GM1 48MP sensor.

The phone company also revealed that it may release a new phone called " Realme A1" in early 2019, positioned between Realme C1 and Realme U1.

In addition to that, Realme is also planning to strengthen its offline presence in India by opening "exclusive experience stores" in the second half of 2019. Though, the location wasn't revealed.

Xiaomi this week launched the Redmi Note 7, $150  a budget smartphone with moderate specs and a 48MP camera setup.
