Last month, we made a post in which we stated that Mozilla working on a replacement for the Firefox browser called Fenix. Well, Mozilla foundation has launched the new browser but in a beta state (nightly).

Firefox's replacement, Fenix, has a more modern look, is faster, has new management tab, and as well a dark mode.

"We know a little something about game-changing web browsers," the browsers description read. "That's why we're excited to give you early access to Firefox Preview, a sneak peek of our new mobile browser."

Built on GeckView, Mozilla says the Fenix browser is their fastest Android browser yet, while assuring ease of use, safety, choice and privacy.

The beta browser is indeed faster than Firefox . The navigation bar of the browser has been moved to the bottom of the screen for easy reach. However, when you swipe over the URL bar, you will be taken over to a start page.

To get Fenix browser, you have to opt into the beta programme via the Play Store and then download access to download it. Alernatively, you can download the app from APK Mirror without going through the whole process.
