This trick is for our Techfoe readers in Tunisia. The free Internet trick works on both Ooredoo and the Tunitel network with the same because it uses DNS tunneling.
DNS tunneling is a slow form of accessing free Internet on the web. This form of accessing free Internet becomes useful only when you don't have any fast trick that uses HTTP, TCP, SSL etc. These ones i just mentioned are way faster than DNS.
All that you need for this trick to work is your DNS tunneling app. It can be TunnelCat, Slow DNS or any other tunneling app of your choice. Those on other platforms apart from Android can also port the settings to whatever app that they want.
In this post, i will apply the configuration using the Slow DNS app because the most popular of all the DNS tunneling app on the Android OS, while TunnelGuru is the most popular on PC.
Though Slow DNS is the app that i will apply the configuration on, i recommend you use TunnelGuru if you don't have premium account on Slow DNS. If you are to use Slow DNS with a free account, you will be limited to 100 MB per day usage, while TunnelCat gives free unlimited Internet access without the need for a premium account.
The settings for this trick are very easy, just follow the below procedures and get yours working. Mean while, those that will use TunnelGuru should read the below procedures and then click here to download the TunnelGuru app, and also the procedures to set it up.
Requirements:
1. Your Tunisian Ooredoo or Tunitel SIM card with zero data and call credit
2. An Android device, iOS or PC
3. Your Slow DNS, TunnelCat or any tunneling app of your choice (Find link below)
4. The configuration settings
Procedure:
1. Click here to download the Slow DNS app or here to download TunnelGuru app for PC users
2. Install and open the app.
3. Now use the below settings to configure your Slow DNS app:
Username and password: Leave this part
Server: select any free server of your choice
DNS Server: 197.4.34.255 or any a faster TunnelGuru IP address
Choose TXT: Response not encoded
LPort= 200 , RPort= 20
Click on connect
4. Wait for the connection to go through because sometimes it might take a while for it to go through. However if it doesn't, simply try reconnecting again.
For TunnelCat, Simply follow the instructions here to change the DNS and get your trick working.
