Teenage Boy Commits Suicide After Being Scolded For Playing PUBG

Online battle royale games PUBG has been banned in several Asian countries over concerns that it influences teens and youths negatively.

Last week, a 15-year-old boy in the Thane district of Maharashtra, India, was said to have killed his elder brother for scolding him for playing PUBG on his mobile phone. Now, another Indian teen has committed suicide after his mother scolded him and took away his mobile for playing PUBG Mobile.

According to the Times of India, the boy, aged 17, is said to had dropped out of school after finishing class X a year ago. The boys family said that he had given up studies and would spend most of his time playing PUBG mobile.
