Normally, when a user wants to use WhatsApp on another device lets say WhatsApp Web, a phone with the WhatsApp account is required to be powered on and as well connected to the web to allow messages to sync.
However, this new work in progress won't depend on the first device with the WhastApp on but instead will be similar to that of rival messaging app Telegram.

With over 2 billion users, WhatsApp is always trying to bring up rich features that will enhance users usability. Early this month, WhatysApp added a search feature that help users to debunk misinformation and fake news on the messaging service.
