Infinix Note 8 And Note 8i Launched With Quad Rear Cameras, MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, USB Type-C And More

Last week, Infinix Mobility launched the Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i devices, the latest addition to the Note series line of devices. Lets look at the two devices specs separately. 

Infinix Note 8

The Infinix Note 8 comes with a 6.95-inch HD+ (720x1640 pixels) IPS display with 20.5:9 aspect ratio and 480 nits of brightness. The device runs on Android 10 with XOS 7.1 and powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, alongside 6GB of RAM.

In the camera department, there's a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an autofocus lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone comes with a dual camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel camera and a secondary portrait sensor. 

There's an internal storage of 128GB which can be expanded via microSD card to accommodate up to 2TB. Connectivity options onboard include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (Infinix decided to surprise us), and  a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Sensors are: an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity, and fingerprint sensor mounted by the side of the device.

The phone comes with dual-SIM (Nano) support, packs a 5,200mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Infinix Note 8i

The Infinix Note 8i, the device comes with a 6.78-inch HD+ (720x1640 pixels) IPS display with 20.5:9 aspect ratio and 480 nits of brightness. Runs on Android 10 with XOS 7.1 and powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and also comes with 6GB of RAM.

There's a quad -camera setup at the rear of the device that includes a 48-megapixel sensor, 2-megapixel macro shooter, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI lens. While there's a single selfie camera at the front of the device with dual LED flash.

The device also comes with 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD to support up to 512GB, 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Other features include a 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and a side mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Infinix Note 8 comes in Deepsa Luster, Iceland Fanyasy, Silver Diamond colour options and is expected to sell for about $200, while the Infinix Note 8i comes in Ice Diamond, Obsidian Black, and Tranquil Blue colours. However, there isn't word on the pricing yet.
