Amazon has launched a new streaming service called "miniTV" that offers its content for free at no cost, but ads supported.
According to Amazon's India's blog, the shows are tailored to the India market alone, though there is no word if similar services will be made available in other markets outside India.

The Amazon miniTV app is available for free download on the Google Play Store and will be coming to iOS and the mobile web over the coming months with more contents. However, it didn't make mention if it will support desktop browsers or smart TVs.
