Indians using free Wifi to Watch P*rn at Rail Stations ---- IndiaTimes

Google and Mark Zuckerbergs internet provider, RaiTel are not yielding the expected results from  the free Wifi internet service they are rendering in India. Google and RaiTel offered free Wifi access at 23 train stations in India so as to get more people engaged in social media, but it seems the people have a much stronger taste, i guess a bigger fish -- porn!

According to the Economictimes.india, Patna Station is the first station in Bihar to have free Wifi access and it is said to have over 200 trains passing daily. YouTube and Wikipedia sites are visited but none of these amount to visits to P*rn sites.

Patna station, under Danapur Division of East Central Railway, is be the first station in Bihar to have free Wi-Fi facility. This railway station is one of the crowded ones with more than 200 trains passing through it daily.

"More than any other railway station in the country, where free Wi-Fi service was launched, the Patna railway station is on the top in the country for using internet search, particularly search for porn sites," an official of RailTel, a mini-Ratna public sector undertaking (PSU), said.

Last month in New York, Wifi Kiosks set up in train stations were shut down due to people loitering around booths and watching p*rn.

Google last month also announced Google Stations, a plan to help bring free Wi-Fi to buses and trains around the world. Lets just hope for the best out of these initiatives.
