The free dating feature is optional to Facebook users as users will decide to opt for the service or not.

Facebook users interested in the service will have to create a separate dating profile for the service which will be separate from their Facebook profile. This will include an introduction of oneself, personal details, a profile picture and answers to personal questions like "Whats does your perfect day look like?"

The dating service also requires users to verify their location so as to be able to find matches within 100 Kilometers.
