Samsung has launched the Galaxy A70 device, adding the new device to the mid-range line of the Galaxy A-series

Earlier this month, the South Korean tech giant launched the more budget-friendly Galaxy A50, A30 and A10. However, the Galaxy A70 device comes with specs that are bigger than it's brothers, and can well serve as an alternative to the much bigger and expensive Galaxy S10e.

The Galaxy A70 device comes with a 6.7 FHD+ 1080x2400 super AMOLED infinity-U display. The 6.7 inch display on the device has a bigger dimension than the Galaxy S10+S, however, due to it's 20:9 aspect ratio, the device will appear smaller than the S10+S.

There's a 32MP camera sensor housed in the notched infinity-U, while t the back there's an ultra-wide 123° 8 MP F2.2 sensor and a 5 MP depth lens.

For the unlock mechanism, there's an on-screen fingerprint and Facial recognition. Embedded within the device is a 4,500mAh battery which is expected to last longer than most flagship device, given Samsungs recent software improvements.

Talking about software, the device will come Samsung's latest One UI, and will run on Google' Android 9 Pie.

The device will be available in 6GB and 8GB variant but both variants will come with an internal storage of 128GB. Storage can also be expanded via miscroSD (supports up to 512GB)

Available colours include black, blue, coral and white.

For now, there's no news on the price of the device but all these information should be made available during its scheduled Galaxy A event which is to hold on April 10.
