Huawei's sub-brand yesterday unveiled two mid-range smartphones in China, the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro.
The two devices comes with a notch-less display, a pop-up front camera, the HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC, a 48MP main camera sensor at the back, GPU Turbo 3.0, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, 4,000 mAh battery and a dazzling 3D gradient X finish at the devices back, just as the X in the name suggest.

Honor 9X:
This device sports a 6.59-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340) display with 391pp1 pixel density, will be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 810 Octa-Core processor that is paired with up to 6GB of RAM. There's a 64GB and 128GB storage option which can also be expanded via microSD to accommodate up to 512GB.
For the camera department, the Honor 9X comes with a 16MP selfie lens with f/2.2 aperture and a dual camera setup at the back - one 48MP with f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP depth sensor.
The device runs on Android 9 Pie (based on EMUI 9.1.1), packs a 4000mAh battery, measures at 163.1x77.2x8.8mm, weighs 206 grams, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth v5. There's a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C and more.
The Honor 9X comes in Midnight Black, Midnight Blue and Red colour options.
The Honor 9X Pro has the same specifications as the Honor 9X, except that it comes with a triple rear camera setup. That is, a 48MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 2 MP depth sensor and an 8MP wide-angle lens.
In the are of storage and RAM, the Honor 9X Pro offers up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt storage which can also be expanded via microSD too.
The device will be available in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue colour options.
Pricing:
For the Honor 9X, the phone will be sold for a starting price of CNY 1,399 for the 4GB/64GB storage, CNY1,599 for the 6/64GB storage and CNY 1,899 for the 6/128GB storage option. Pre-orders will go on Vmall on July 30.
As for the Honor 9X Pro, the device will be sold for a starting price of CNY 2,199 for the 8/128GB, CNY 2,399 for the 8/128GB storage and CNY 2,399 for the 8/256GB storage option. Pre orders of the Honor 9X Pro will also starts July.
There's no word when this device will be available in other markets.
