Alongside the release of the iPhone 12 and 12 mini, Apple also announced the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max to succeed the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.
The iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max comes with a 6.1-inch (2532x1170 pixels) OLED and a 6.7-inch (2778x1284 pixels) OLED Super Retina XDR displays, respectively and have support for HDR and Dolby Vision.
Apple equipped the displays with new Ceramic Shield protection with 4X better drop performance, all thanks to a new high temperature crystallisation step that grows nano-ceramic crystals within the glass matrix.
Both phones have support for 5G and are powered by an A14 Bionic 5nm Chip with 11.8 billion transistors and a 6-core design and feature IP68 water resistance (6 metres for up to 30 minutes).
In the camera department, the iPhone 12 Pro features a 12MP main camera along with a 12MP 120° Ultra Wide camera and a 12MP 53 mm focal length Telephoto camera for 4x optical zoom. The iPhone 12 pro Max features a new f/1.6 aperture Wide camera with a 47% larger sensor with 1.7 pixels which improves about 87% in low-light conditions.

There is the night mode feature for all cameras and as well there is a new new Night mode Time-Lapse mode. An improved Deep Fusion, is now faster, better and is also available on cameras with the new Smart HDR 3 for more true-to life images, including the complex ones.
Apple boasts the devices will offer an end-to-end experience for HDR video with Dolby Vision up to 60 fps, the first in the world. Dolby Vision grading is processed live and sustained during editing in the Photos app or iMovies, and is coming to Final Cut Pro X later this year.
For the much talked about LiDAR Scanner, the iPhone 12 Pro models will come equipped with the new feature and offer users the ability to measure light distance and use pixel depth information of a scene. The tech used in the LiDAR Scanner aids in delivering faster and more realistic AR experiences and as well, improves autofocus by 6x in low light scenes for more accuracy and reduced capture time in photos and videos.
Also, Apple updated its wireless charging with MagSafe for iPhone, a new charging coil design that allows iPhone chargers, cases and other compatible accessorizes snap right onto its back. Apple didn't include chargers in the box.
