However, due to privacy reasons, some Facebook users prefer to hide their information from the eyes of the public....these include Facebook posts, birthday, friends, family members, etc. But then, do you know that you could as well hide your Facebook profile from other users?

In this article, we will be showing you guys how to hide your Facebook profile from other users. Follow the procedures as shown below.
Note: We used the Facebook web for this. However, you can do the same on your phone app and still get the same result.
1. Login to your Facebook account via a browser
2. Click on the down arrow button located at the top right corner of the screen
3. From the list of options, click on Settings & Privacy
4. Next click on Settings
5. Click on Privacy
6. Once you do that, you will be met with a number options as shown below.
- Who can send you friend request?
- Who can see your friend requests list?
- Do you want search engines outside of Facebook to link to your profile?
- Who can look you up using the email address you provided
- Who can look you up using the phone number you provided
7. Scroll down and select "How People Find and Contact You"
8. Now the next settings depends on how you want to hide your profile, who you want wants to view it and more With that, your are done with the setup.
