Tecno Pova 2 Launched With 7,000mAh Big Battery, Quad-camera, Helio G85 SoC, And More

Tecno has released the Tecno Pova 2 smartphone, the successor to Tecno Pova that was launched last year in December. The device brings upgrades in display, processor, battery, and as well in the camera departments.

Launched last week in the Philippines, the Tecno Pova 2 sports a 6.9-inch full-HD+ display with a hole-punch housing a selfie camera. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and internal storage up to 128GB.

In the camera department, there is a quad-camera setup at the back of the device, while the selfie camera is an 8-megapixel AL-powered camera housed in the device's hole-punch.

The device packs a massive 7,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, which the company claims can last for days. 

Connectivity options on the Tecno Pova 2 include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack and, more.

Other features include System Turbo 2.0 and ET Game Engine to boost gaming performance on the phone. There's also a feature called Game Space 2.0 that provides a unique UI to enhance gameplay by accelerating memory, network connectivity, and boosting the CPU and GPU power of the device.

The phone will be available in Black, Blue, and Silver colour options. The Tecno Pova 2 will be available in a single configuration which is the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model and will be sold in the Philippines for PHP 7,990 (about $168).

Pre-orders for the phone begun yesterday while sales will commence June 11.
